If you've decided to enroll more than one student at our school,

we are pleased to offer a 5% discount on tuition for the second student/family member who attends Monarch Montessori.

If you'd like to be added to our waitlist, here's what you should know:

  • Our waitlist is first come, first serve.  When classrooms are full, waitlisted families will remain on the waitlist and be contacted once a slot opens up.

  • There is a non-refundable fee of $50 to be placed on the waitlist.  This fee can be paid using our website.

  • Being waitlisted does not guarantee enrollment.  It simply tells us that you're interested in enrolling at a future date when a slot opens up or when your child is old enough to attend.

  • When adding your family to the waitlist, please give us your name, your child's name and age as well as contact information so that we can reach you.

Welcome to Monarch Montessori!

We're glad that you're considering Monarch for your preschool, elementary and middle school needs! We believe that each child has different gifts, challenges and styles of learning.  At Monarch Montessori, each child's individual path is recognized and celebrated.

We are a private, non-sectarian Montessori school. Our hours of operation are from 8:00AM to 5:30PM, Monday through Friday. Our Montessori Program takes place between 8:00AM and 4:00PM.  Aftercare takes place between 4:00PM and 5:30PM.

Our Philosophy

Every school that you encounter will have its own education philosophy. Monarch Montessori's philosophy centers around the principle of individualism.  Students perceive themselves as capable of making their own choices, while in constant relationship with other students and guides in the classroom.

What is the Montessori Method?

Montessori is an education philosophy and practice that fosters rigorous, self-motivated growth for children and adolescents in all areas of their development, with a goal of nurturing each child's natural desire for knowledge, understanding and respect (AMI, 2021).

Montessori for Preschool

Montessori preschool centers around the premise that a child learns through play. Each activity is carefully designed to use their experiences to teach concepts and ideas. The classroom engineers individual exploration.

Montessori for Elementary & Middle School

What sets Montessori apart in the elementary years is the individually-paced curriculum that challenges children academically while safeguarding their sense of well-being.  Students are challenged to contribute as members of their community, think critically about the world around them and lean in to the learning process.  The classroom affords every opportunity for students to work individually or in small groups at tables or on the floor.  Spaces are uncluttered and promote mindfulness.

Each Classroom at Monarch Montessori Provides:

  • Individual learning plans for each student

  • At least 1 Montessori-certified teacher

  • A maximum of 15 students per-class (age-dependent)

  • Multi-age classroom activities

  • Flexible seating

  • A choice of work

  • Small group lessons
